As a home cook who loves to entertain, I was frustrated with the fit, feel and look of conventional aprons, which irritated and tugged on my neck. I searched the market for a different design, and when I couldn’t find exactly what I wanted, I took matters into my own hands, dusted off my sewing machine, and set out to create the perfect apron.

First and foremost, it had to be comfortable. It had to be lightweight and attractive enough to keep on when entertaining. It needed functional pockets! After I finished mine, I began making aprons for friends, tweaking and fine-tuning each one. Before long I was getting requests and the overwhelmingly positive response encouraged me to make my hobby a business, and Madmade® was born.

Now The Incredibly Comfortable Reversible Apron is proudly manufactured by a small family-owned factory in the USA. Not only committed to supporting the local business community, Madmade® donates a portion of every apron sold to help fight hunger in America.
